Hello, I am attempting to put together a demo to show off the effect of the acquisition time on the ADC in TI controllers. I am looping back DACA output to an ADC input, and want to use the formula in this TI application note (https://www.ti.com/lit/an/spract6a/spract6a.pdf section 4.3.1) to calculate an acquisition time. However, I cannot find anywhere in the data sheet or otherwise that indicates the output impedance and capacitance of the DAC module. Is this information available?

Additionally, wondering if there is a TINA-TI model (or a SPICE model that could be converted in) that I could use for the buffer op-amp that the DAC uses to try to get some accurate simulations. Thanks!

Hi Sean,

In the datasheet, we give specifications for the maximum capacitive load and typical settling time. From these specs, I think you could work out the output impedance of the DAC. Would this be acceptable for the customer?
