TMS320F280039: How to suppress short pulses in the PWM

Part Number: TMS320F280039

In Sin PWM, the carrier frequency is around 16Kz and fundamental frequency (sin frequency) is around 50 Hz.  When the modulating waveform is near to TBPRD the width of the pulse is very less i.e, 1usec or less. I need to remove those pulses. So, is there any kind of register or module which I can directly use.

  • Hello Rahul,

No we don't have any register for suppressing short pulses since pwm work on action qualifier and compare values only. Masking of outputs cannot be know prior to the event available which hasn't happened yet.
For Custom PWM generation needs, CLB (Configurable Logic Block) may be able to address that.

    Thanks,
    Prarthan
