LAUNCHXL-F28379D: How to make a new project in a different folder rather than in the default workspace

I am wondering if anyone tried to make a file in a folder different from the default workspace folder in CCS. I was giving it a try and could not succeed. Has anyone done it with certain steps to follow?

I want a new folder so that I can connect it with my cloned Github directory.

Hello Sana,

I believe the only way you can do this is by having a separate workspace with that folder and then switching to it. Please try this and let me know if you have any questions.

Yes, that worked, copied the workspace to the desired folder and it did not give error. Thank you very much for your help.
