TMS320F28388S: GTest on embedded target

We need to perform some unit tests to test our low-level-drivers on the target (both the C28 CPUand the CM), and wondering:

1. Can Google Test framework be supported and used for on-target unit test?

2. Any other unit test framework support?

From the datasheet: "Various models are available for download from the product Design & development pages. These models include I/O Buffer Information Specification (IBIS) Models and Boundary-Scan Description Language (BSDL) Models". If Google Test framework leverages BSDL, it can be implemented. However, we do not have any support libraries etc. You will have to develop it yourself.
