TMS320F280045: Execute a copy of the BOOT ROM on user Flash

Hello,

Is it possible to load a copy of the BOOT ROM into the USER FLASH and execute it ?

I was able to do it in the past on the f28335, but I don't find how to do it on the f280045.

I want to execute the code and put breakpoints to see for example if the autobaud character ("a") is well received.

(I found the BOOT ROM source code in C2000ware, but I am not able to make the CCS project).

Hi Yoel,

It seems like you are looking for something similar to the SCI Example for Echoback or SCI Flash Kernel for the F28004x device (which takes some basis from the bootROM code for SCI, and has a Flash build for loading the code). These projects are located at the following locations in C2000Ware:

C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_5_01_00_00\driverlib\f28004x\examples\sci

C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_5_01_00_00\driverlib\f28004x\examples\flash
