my customer is using F2800137 and they want to know the software of F2800137 to pass the IEC60370 certification. Could u kindly help to provide this? thanks~

    Hi Zoey,

    The diagnostic library that's part of C2000Ware can help support IEC60730. They may also want to check out this app note about features and diagnostics that can help support IEC60730 on C2000 devices. It hasn't been updated for F280013x yet, but there should be quite a bit of overlap.

    Thank you for your kindly reply. with your suggestion, I already find the Diagnostic application example, and it works well on TI development kit.

    By now the Certification authority is asking for a document which expain the principle(or strategy) of each diagnostic items. would you provide such document, thanks a lot.

    The best document we have that explains the diagnostic library is the User's Guide in <C2000Ware install>/libraries/diagnostic/f280013x/docs. Also note UL recently certified the F280013x diagnostic library for IEC 60730. You can request more details on the UL Product iQ website--the file number is E352502.

    If you're looking for general descriptions of the hardware diagnostic features, you can take a look at the safety manual for the F280015x device. Unfortunately, we don't have a separate safety manual for F280013x, so you'll need to check the data sheet to make sure that the features being discussed apply to F280013x (e.g. only the 0015x has lockstep), but they do have a lot in common.

    I have check and provide these documents to Certification authority but it's not the right doc they want. The User's Guide in <C2000Ware install>/libraries/diagnostic/f280013x/docs is describe how to use the libraries, but without explain the principle of each test. The safety manual for the F280015x device. also without the description about the MCU test logic.

    Please find attaced, this is a MCU self test document of another MCU, it include the proccess of MCU self test, and also the flow chart.

    Could you provide document like this? Thanks a lot.

    The Library Modules chapters explain how each test works. This document is based on our internal design documents, so sharing those with you really won't provide much more additional detail.
