TMS320F28379D: Register function

Part Number: TMS320F28379D

Hi Team,

There's an issue from the customer need your help:

On TRM 1582 pages, chapter 10.3.2.5 THIS CHAPTER IS THE ANAREFTRIMA REGISTER, WHERE ITS <10-6> BITS ARE THE FIELD BGSLOPETRIM FUNCTION, WHICH IS ADJUSTED FOR THE BANDGAP SLOPE.

where 00 - no adjustment, other values - adjustment

Excuse me, how did you adjust it? For example, if the value is "01", what is the adjusted value? Is it positive or negative?

Field < 5-0> BGVALTRIM is the same as above. Thanks for the answer.

Best Regards,

Ben

  • Ben,

These values are loaded during boot up with values we store in TI OTP memory by the BROM.  These are used to meet the DS electrical requirements for the analog subsystem on the device across the operational range of the device.

There is no support for customer to "re-trim" or populate other values in these registers, so therefore we do not provide details on any functional usage of these registers.  These are documented in the TRM so that it is known what these locations are used for by TI.

    Best,

    Matthew
