TMS320F28388S: Not able to flash the code

Hi Deepankan,

Since you know the passwords, did you try to unlock the device and then proceed to flash operations?  

Here are the steps for unlocking the device via CCS:

1. Configure the device boot mode GPIO pins for wait-boot mode
2. Power on the device
3. Launch the target configuration file 
4. Right click on the CPU in the Debug view and select “Connect to Target”
5. Navigate to CCS debug view --> Tools -> On-Chip Flash
6. In the On-Chip flash GUI window, scroll down to the CSMPSWD fields and enter the passwords; then click Unlock
7. You may need to uncheck the “Reset target before flash programming operations” box in the On-Chip flash GUI. This is to prevent the locking of the device caused by the reset.

Yes I had unlocked the device using On-Chip Flash by giving below password

and try flashing from On-Chip Flash only which is working fine but once I am closing the On-Chip Flash and trying the normal flashing then I am getting the below error:

Also, I enabled the JTAG lock but I am able to unlock it by using the password through ccxml file.

1) What do you mean by "trying the normal flashing"?  Do you mean programming the flash using the flash API library?  or something else?  Please provide more details.

2) Could you post snapshots showing the procedure you followed to unlock the JTAGLOCK?

Normal Flashing means directly from CCS(without using ON-Chip Flash GUI) as below.
