TMS320F28386D: Facing issue while trying to link Standalone SYSCONFIG to CCS

From the error , looks like it is not able to find C2000Ware version.  You can check if the C2000Ware version is listed in the Products. 

Click on Windows->Preferences->Products in CCS, you should see the products as shown below

I think you will have to configure the SDK path in the Sysconfig options

As per your inputs, I included the sdk.json path and followed all the inputs from the above mentioned posts.

PFA, when I added the sdk.json path my SYSCONFIG file is throwing error in the project, and also i am unble to see CPU1_RAM, CPU1_FLASH options I could only see Debug and Release options 

Could you please resolve my issue?

Looks like it is unable to find the sdk.json file 

What is the path displayed for the ($C2000WARE_ROOT)\.metadata\sdk.json?  You can hover the mouse over it to get this info.

It should be pointing to sdk.json file in the C2000Ware install directory.

Bandi,

It should point to the C2000Ware install folder.  Can you specify the absolute path to it instead of using the C2000WARE_ROOT  variable (for e.g: C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_5_01_00_00\.metadata\sdk.json) and try?

When you create a new project  using CCS, the default build configurations are "Debug" and "Release". The build configuration names can be changed by right clicking on the Project->Build Configurations->Manage

Bandi,

The device option should be "F2838x" instead of "F2838X".   It is case sensitive.  

Pls change it to "F2838x" in the --device option of SysConfig.  I think this should resolve your issue.
