LAUNCHXL-F28069M: Failed to identify motor parameters using GUI and BOOSTXL8301

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F28069M

Hi Team,

hardware: LAUNCHXL-F28069M, BOOSTXL8301, servo motor(220v, 1kw)

software: lab2a

operations: import lab2a to CCS, compile to generate .out file, then copy to the file folder that the GUI software based, launch the GUI, and the GUI options are shown below:

Phenomenon: The motor does not rotate during the identification process, which is different from the TI tutorial. The customer sees that the motor rotates during the motor identification process, so he does not know whether the identified parameters are correct?

Do the identified parameters need to be copied to user.h so that the motor can rotate?

Thanks & Regards

  • Hi,

The motor should rotate during the ID routine, if it doesn't then something is going wrong. Have they run the ID routine successfully with a different motor before?

    Best,
