Hello there,
Can anyone please explain here in the Image attached what does the ADCSOCA or ADCSOCB of each ePWM module denotes?
my understanding is that with the SOCA refers to the ePWMA and SOCB refers to the ePWMB of any ePWM module. that can trigger the ADC SOC for the conversion.
Can you please elaborate this topic.
thanks!
Hey Tejas,
Each PWM module can generate an ADCSOCA or ADCSOCB event on several different events that are configurable by the user in the EPWM registers. Although the events are named after channels A and B, you can configure ADCSOCA to occur on a CMPB event or vice versa, or even a trip event. Here's an example of this in the SOCA Trigger Source drop down in SysConfig:
Let me know if you have further questions.
Thank you,
Luke
