TMS320F28386S: Does the CMPxHR has to be used in conjunction with DBxEDHR?

Hi TI Experts,

I need to generate a pair of PWM signals with high resolution of duty cycles, which are used in a half-bridge converter. The deadband does not need to have high resolution. However, I am not sure if the generated PWMs have high resolution if the CMPxHR is enabled while the DBxEDHR is disabled.

Hi Jiaxing,

I don't believe dead-band needs high resolution to retain the high resolution of CMPxHR. Let me know if you encounter any issues implementing deadband.

So the dead-band will not affect the resolution of PWM? I will try it in my project.
