C2000 resolver simulator application

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE

Good morning,

Im quite new to the C2000 series and I would like to know if its feasible to build a resolver simulator with a C2000 launchpad for a first approach.

I have a reference signal given by an inverter which goes to the resolver, in my case, there is no resolver and I want to simulate a resolver by using the C2000 lauchpad, so this reference signal must go into the launchpad and then I have to do the algorithm for the calculations of the sine wave and cosine wave as the output of the resolver. Is the C2000 capable of generating sinusoidal signals or I need something more powerfull? If so, any advice?

Thanks for your time,

Gabe.

  • It seems you are trying to simulate the modulated output signals from a resolver with a C2000 launchpad. I'm sorry that we don't have existing references for this application case. My proposal is to leverage two DAC outputs from C2000 for the simulated A, B signals from a resolver and you may want to check into the DAC reference code from C2000Ware package as a start point. Hope this helps!
