TMS320LF2407A: Need to program 2407 with XDS100v3, for a legacy power electronics product

Part Number: TMS320LF2407A

When I tried to import the project code in CCS 5.2 I got the following error in the project import log:
" !ERROR: Unknown device 'TMS320C24XX'! "

I guess, CCS 3.3 happens to be the last version that supported 2407.

But when I tried to set up CCS 3.3, I could not find XDS100v3 drivers for it.

I wish to understand - 

Is there a way to use a higher CCS version to program 2407? or 

Is it possible to make XDS100v3 work with CCS 3.3? or

is there any other tooling I can use, what are my options?
