To transfer data from the CLB to the CPU or vice versa, use the HLC. The CLB and eCAP Lab in C2000 Academy has an example of this, you would set up an interrupt to trigger from the HLC after doing some operations to push the data to the FIFO. The interrupt can then read the data from the FIFO and put more items on a FIFO to be read by the HLC (if needed). There are other examples in C2000Ware as well, but the C2000 Academy example steps through it more thoroughly.
