TMDSCNCD280039C: Unable to import CCS project from C2000WARE-DIGITALPOWER-SDK

Hi, I am running CCS 12.6 and am trying to import one of the example projects from the SDK.

However, i receive the following error after clicking finish in the "Improt CCS Projects" window:

empty_driverlib_project
Product c2000ware_software_package v0.0 is not currently installed and no compatible version is available. Please install this product or a compatible version.

I reinstalled CCS yesterday, and made sure to tick the c2000 box. I can also see the device in the list when creating a new project.

Hi Sebastian,

Link works on my end. Perhaps forum was down at the time of you accessing the link. Regardless, I've copied the solution and added it below:

The issue seems to be related to a missing C2000Ware product that is autodetected by CCS. Within, the projectspec file for the desired project, there's a line of code that automatically tries to determine if C2000Ware pakcage is installed on the machine. I believe the customer does not have this package installed on their machine that is why they are seeing this error.

Here is the line that is the issue.

Please have the customer remove this line from the projectspec file located here (installed path: C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_DigitalPower_SDK_4_03_01_00\c2000ware\driverlib\f28003x\examples\adc\CCS)

This should remove the product dependency and allow the project to import and build.

I will follow up with the C2000Ware team to comment and investigate further.
