C2000: Missing release note with "Known Issues And Limitations"

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE

The next C2000Ware package doesn't include the release note with known issues and limitations as PDF (like C2000WARE_vx.xx.xx.xx_Release_Notes.pdf available in other packages)

- C2000Ware_1_00_06_00_setup.exe

Also for the MotorControl packages there are no release notes included for MotorControl specific parts.

- C2000Ware_MotorControl_SDK_2_01_00_00_setup.exe
- C2000Ware_MotorControl_SDK_0_03_00_00_setup.exe

I need this documents to assess the possible impact caused by the known issues.

  • Hi Martin,

The release notes for C2000Ware 1.00.06 can be found here: https://software-dl.ti.com/C2000/c2000_apps_public_sw/c2000ware/1_00_06_00/release_notes.html

As for the MotorControl SDK, which specific parts are you looking for? Each reference design has its own documentation which can be found within the MCSDK under its "docs" folder.

    Kind regards,

    Skyler

  • Hi Skyler,

    Thank you for your reply.

What I need is a summary of known restictions and limitations for:

    C2000Ware 1.00.06.00
    - C2000Ware MotorControl SDK 2.01.00.00
    - C2000Ware MotorControl SDK.0.03.00.00

In the documentation of this packages there is no such a document. Even the link you provide doesn't show this information.

I know such a document from C2000Ware 2.01.00.00 called C2000WARE_v2.01.00.00_Release_Notes.pdf including the chapter

    • Known Issues And Limitations

    That's what I'm looking for.

    Looking forward for your reply.

    Best regards

    Martin

  • Hi Martin,

If there are known issues at the point of release, that information is recorded in the Release Notes. If we weren't aware of any at the time, the section would be empty. If you are looking for known issues with specific solutions, I recommend looking at release notes that come after the versions you asked about and seeing if any Known Issues were highlighted and are relevant to your solutions.

    Kind regards,

    Skyler
