TMS320F280039C: HRPWM configuration

Part Number: TMS320F280039C

Hi Team,

1. Our current topology is a three-phase out-of-phase LLC. If we do not use the SFO library to calculate the MEP scale factor, can the frequency, duty cycle and phase be updated correctly?

2. If you define MEP yourself in the program, do you only need to ensure that MEP is in the range of 0-255?

Best Regards,

Zane

  • Hi Zane,

It is technically possible to calculate your own scale factor and write it to the HRMSTEP register. This would probably require many measurements of the HRPWM duty at different operating conditions you'd expect in your system. Is there a reason you do not want to use the SFO library?

As long as auto-conversion is enabled, you can write any value to CMPAHR that is within 0-255.

    Thank you,

    Luke
