How to calculate the offset I want to see, compared to the actual memory address?
How to clearly map an address from the debug tool to its actual memory location?
Because it has both bp_32 and uint32_t, I want to know how to calculate the memory location.
Also, from where or what tool can I clearly see the register positions and correctly correlate them with the data?

Following information is helpful to calculate the actual addresses:
The datasheet provides the starting address of all the peripheral registers.
The exact address of any register can be found by adding the offset shown in the TRM to the START ADDRESS shown in the datasheet.
The file F2837xD_Headers_nonBIOS_cpu1.cmd in the C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_5_01_00_00\device_support\f2837xd\headers\cmd directory has information on exactly where the registers are located in the device memory.

The CAN_PERR offset is 0x1C whereas the offfset for CAN_RAM_INIT is 0x40. the array is used to indicate the gap between these offsets.
Following is the size of the data types extracted from the TMS320C28x Code Compiler User guide which can be used to calculate the offset.
