I have downloaded the TI resource example code for the

PMP23126-3-kW phase-shifted full bridge with active clamp reference design

from resource explorer and it is for F280049C controller but I have TMS320F280039C Launch pad. I know I cant test everything on Lanch-Pad but I have LMG3425EVM-043 Board to test half bridge,

I need to do a Application Code Migration From F280049C to F280039C, I have refer the document but those are not elaborate one, Eg(chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/www.ti.com/.../spruiw3.pdf

I have tried by changing the target configuration and F280039C device header file and everything but still facing linker issue and many more.

Please Help me to migrate TI above psfbpcmc_F28004X code to F280039C. I just to need to probe those phase shift full bridge PWM signal.

When I change the target to TMS320F280039C, Code composer studio is able to build the changes without error, but when Flash it on the Launch-pad, during run time it is getting stuck at due to memory not accessible on one memory, I am not sure I am doing the rite thing here. Help me here.

Hi Tenzin,

Which linker command file are you using the your project? Are you using the generic 28003x cmd file?

Also, if you weren't aware, the C2000 Academy has a migration page that lists some other existing migration tools/documents. Specifically, there is an automated migration report generation tool that helps with identifying driverlib/register etc. differences between the devices.

Hi Allison

Yes I have used genreric 28003X cmd file. I have notice that using mentioned tools that 28003x does not support some epwm functionality as 280049x, how do i resolve this function, I can do pin remap but what about epwm functionality features.

How do i fixed this kind of issues.

Hi Tenzin,

Are there specific EPWM configurations you are asking about? Be sure you are checking the F28003x TRM for specific functionalities as well.

One more note on migration I wanted to add is if you develop using the SysConfig GUI, it is very easy to migrate between devices like this (this video shows how to do migration with a single click in SysConfig - you may find it helpful in your migration as well since SysConfig autogenerates all the configurations for you which you can also view easily. I'll link this app note for SysConfig as well).

Hi Alison

The example code for psfbpcmc_F28004x does not have SysConfig GUI, Also function like EPWM_SycOutPulseMode and many more are not supported on driver itself. Can you help me here.

Kindly post your questions here. We can reach out to more expert through e2e to answer you questions. In this porting effort, could you please list out the issues you are facing so that we can address them one by one? Screenshots of error will help us as well to understand the error.
