TMS320F280025: RMS calculation

Hi ,

For one of my projects, I am using F280025 controller. 

I am sensing rectified AC voltage signal (100Hz frequency) at sampling period of 1ms. I need to calculate RMS value of this signal for my application.

Is there any example file for RMS calculation? I have tried some mathematical expressions, but it is taking huge time for the calculation.

Also, how can we enable TMU feature for square root calculation?

    Jayant,

    I don't believe we have a specific RMS example in C2000Ware. I'll check if it's supported in our Digital Power or Motor Control SDK libraries.

    To enable TMU use, you should have --tmu_support = tmu1 (on F28002x) under C2000 Compiler - Processor Options, and also --fp_mode=relaxed under C2000 Compiler - Optimization.
