Hi Team,

Hope all is well.

Does the TMS320F2800152Q1 support CANopen and SAE J1939? Also, any risks of this device going EOL anytime soon?

    Hi Connor,

    F280015x is fairly new which RTM'd just over a year ago, so the risk of it going EOL anytime soon is very, very low Slight smile.  Unfortunately, we have no support for CANopen and SAEJ1939.  If customers need support with these HLPs, we can refer them to https://simmasoftware.com .  They are a third party that supports software needs for C2000 products.

              Yes, all C2000 MCUs are capable of supporting these HLPs, but we don’t offer the stacks ourselves. Customer need to work with a 3P. Simma has already developed these stacks.

    C2000 MCUs have a very long lifecycle. Just to put things in perspective, we still manufacture/sell our LF240xA devices, introduced some 25 years ago.
