I am asking this for our customer.

Does F2838x USB support OTG?

If not, can the user use another GPIO to mean host or slave and change its USB mode on the fly (during runtime)?

    Hi, 

    We do not support USB OTG. But we do support both host and device modes. 

    There is an example provided within C2000Ware (usb_ex8_dual_detect) which can be referred . This example uses a GPIO for ID detection and switches between host and device mode .
