TMS320F28075: Question about C2Prog vs flash kernel speed

Hi BU experts,

My customer is using SCI boot to flash the device. They found that C2Prog is much faster than the flash kernel (40s vs 3min). They want to know if there is any special feature that C2Porg has used to a special features like multiplane or cachplane of nand flash (BTW which type of flash is the on-chip flash?)

Additionally, any idea how C2Porg flashing is done and how it achieve such speed?

Hi Hang,

What is the baud rate at which the customer is using the SCI flash kernel?

C2Prog works at 115K baud.

Flash is NOR.

Hi Vamsi,

Their baud rate is 19200. It might be the issue of baud rate. They are testing it now. I'll come back to you if there is any update. Thanks for answering.
