Hi ti team，

We have a question about the EtherCAT communication address configuration between TMS320F28377D and LAN9252. Currently, LN9252 uses a 4-bit address bus. Which address bus interfaces should be fixed to connect to the corresponding address bus of TMS320F28377D?For example, A0-A3, or any address line can be used, as shown below.

We have subsequently inquired the following information:

Does it mean that the external memory address line A0 must be connected to the EM1BA1 pin, and that the external memory A1-A(x+1) corresponds to A0-Ax connected to the TMS320F28377D?

    Hi,

    I want to warn you that we do not have the capability to provide good design support for EtherCAT for the F2837X devices. 

    We are trying to understand why some customers wish to use EtherCAT with the F2837X device instead of F2838X or F28P65X. Could you please tell me more about why you want to use F2837X for etherCAT instead of one of these newer devices? If you are more comfortable sharing this information offline, please send me a private message (I have just sent you a friend request). We would greatly appreciate this information, since it will impact our decision on how we will support F2837X etherCAT boards going forward.
