I'm testing the DCSM and programmed CSM password. Afterwards I can't connect the controller anymore. When I try to unlock the controller (with CCS or Uniflash) I always get:
[ERROR] C28xx_CPU1: Error connecting to the target: (Error -1156 @ 0x0) Device may be operating in low-power mode. Do you want to bring it out of this mode? Choose 'Yes' to force the device to wake up and retry the operation. Choose 'No' to retry the operation without waking the device. (Emulation package 9.9.0.00040)
CCS JTAG connection test is successful.
Hello,
This is a known phenomenon and discussed on many e2e posts. See below for example:
It is likely the ECSL kick in and breaks the emulator connection. Please refer to 3.13.1.1 Emulation Code Security Logic (ECSL) in page 141 of www.ti.com/lit/SPRUHX5.
Well that "works", but I'm still not able to debug the code. The debugger will flash the code and then it get stuck in _system_post_cinit().
Edit: I managed to get debugging working by removing all reset options from debug settings.
