TMS320F28P650DK: Error Occurred during Flash Operation

I have configured the flash plugin settings as suggested. Still I'm facing this issue.

How are your boot mode GPIOs configured?  Can you try wait boot and see if that helps?

If not your application, are you able to load any C2000ware example with flash build configuration?

Boot Mode GPIOs are configured in boot to flash mode. I'm able to flash other C2000ware example projects. Error exist when I try to load this specific project. However when I erased Flash Banks and tried to flash, I'm not getting any such error. Instead Core1 is going into default NMI ISR.

Can you try with boot mode pins set to wait boot and see what happens?

Did you do this "Please configure the PLL using the Configure Clock button in CPU1 flash plugin GUI before doing any CPU2 flash plugin operations (including loading any executable to CPU2 flash)" ?

I can see configure clock button only in debug view. I wanted to run the device standalone without JTAG connection, So I'm trying to flash the code directly without going into debug mode.

You can program the code in to the flash and then run the device in standalone mode with a power cycle and the device set to flash boot.

Hi Vamsi Gudivada,

I'm Using DMA in Core1 which is triggered at very high frequency. Since I haven't done any synchronization of both cores, even before code is flashed in Core2, Core1 starts executing and the DMA in Core1 is using GS RAM for Data transfer. Could it be the reason for this error. Because when DMA is not using GSRAM this issue is not there.  I've attached a message that's displayed in Console.

Yes, it can be.

Please try programming CPU2 when CPU1 is not using GSx.

Don't run CPU1 until CPU1 is loaded (assuming you are loading both cores' banks).

I have created a system project and using Flash Button to load the program in Flash Banks. So the Core1 starts running as soon as it's loaded into the Banks. How can I avoid that?

Thank you, this resolved the issue. I have added IPC synchronization to my program. When I flash code directly without following the steps above, Core1 is bypassing IPC Flag and started running without waiting for Core2 to send acknowledgement. But When I do manual launch (above suggested process), this is not happening. Why is that happening?
