I need a math model for your deadband

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CONTROLSUITE

From the ControlSuite code:
In folder:  c:\TI\controlSUITE\libs\app_libs\motor_control\drivers\f2833x_v1.1
Is a file named:  f2833xpwm.H

In F2833xPWM the deadband is set to 200. . of 150 MHz . . comes to 1.33 microseconds (which is reflected in the comments).

Can you point me to someplace where the why/math that lead your team to adopt the 1.33 micro seconds?

I see that on other micro controllers the param is set to 1.66 microseconds.

It is a constant, and as such it becomes a much larger percent of the wave form at 100Khz.
If it should be a portion of a PWM cycle then I should shrink it.
If it is necessary for the 28335 to function properly, then I should leave it alone.

I would also assume that because it is a 100 or 200 that it is based on a swag.

I would rather know prior to burning up another controller card.
