CCS 13.x (and beyond) is going to be Theia based also for C2000?

Yes. All major versions after CCS 12.x will be Theia based and C2000 will be supported.

Note that C2000 is already supported in CCS Theia 1.3+.

So as of CCS version 13, there will no longer be an Eclipse-based IDE? And will the C2000ware example projects be THEIA projects instead of Eclipse projects?

That is correct.

Note that the project system between CCS Eclipse and CCS Theia remain mostly unchanged. You can import existing CCS Eclipse projects into CCS Theia.
