TIDM-1000: Regards the output load

Part Number: TIDM-1000

Dear sir,

Is it possible to load the TIDM-1000 module's output like VBUSP with respect to neutral and VBUSN with respect to neutral using two DC-DC converters.

  • We call the neutral "VBUSM"(Mid) in this design. The design was only intended to supply loads between VBUSP and VBUSN and was not intended to supply two seperate loads with respect to VBUSM.

The design does have the ability to balance the Voltages on VPM and VMN, but it is not intended to balance two loads. I have not researched this application of a the rectifier, it seems like it would lead to asymmetric aging unless the loads were equal.

If you do decide to attempt this I believe you will need to consider the amount of control effort you can provide to support different wattage loads at the same time. Below is the gain of our balance controller.

    Regards,
    Cody
