TMS320F28377S: DAC output connected to ADC

Hi,

My customer directly connected DAC outputs to ADC inputs on their PCB.
Then, they observed glitches on these signals at ADC sampling rate.
In below waveform,
DACOUTA is connected to ADCIN15
DACOUTC is connected to ADCINC4
DACOUTB is connected to ADCINC3

What is your recommendation to avoid such glitches?
Do they need to insert resistors between DAC output and ADC input, etc.?
(workaround without additional components is the best)

Hello Koichiro,

There are a few recommendations that are generally applicable when reading an ADC input, please refer to the ADC Input Circuit Evaluation application note for more detailed information, let me know if you still have some questions about this.

I would also recommend measuring the DAC output (disconnected from the ADC input), to isolate whether the issue is the ADC reading, the DAC output, or something in between.
