C2000WARE: Cannot compile using 5.02.00.00

Part Number: C2000WARE

Our sample code can be compiled using C2000Ware up to 5.01.00.00 (also 4.03.00.00 works). However, some of our customers started to install 5.02.00.00 (because they by default download the latest version on ti.com) and now compilation fails. How can we setup the CCS project to be able to compile with both 5.01.00.00 and 5.02.00.00?

Hi Ben,

Can you please check the path for the variable - COM_TI_C2000WARE_SOFTWARE_PACKAGE_INSTALL_DIR

COM_TI_C2000WARE_SOFTWARE_PACKAGE_INSTALL_DIR - this variable has to be created and pointed to the COM_TI_C2000WARE_INSTALL_DIR.

Please have a look at the build variables in the project properties ( enable system variable )

Hi Aswin,

When I add this variable to .project, it can compile. However, when using C2000Ware 5.01.00.00, it CANNOT compile. We need a solution that can compile with both 5.01.00.00 AND 5.02.00.00.

Hi Ben,

If you right click within CCS on your project and go to properties. Depending on what C2000WARE version is pointed here by the project will determine the version. The customer can go here to change this to be 5.02.00 and re compile their project.
