TMS320F28379D: Programming TMS320F2837D from bananapi-m64 via xds110/xds100v3

Hi,

For producton purpose I need to program TMS320F2837D via xds110 or xds100v3 (flash and otp memories).

This works fine when laptop is the host and I use UniFlash software.

I need to do the same but from bananapi-m64 (arm with linux arch=aarch64) without display - only console access.

I assume that I would need some build of the uniflash command line version for that cpu architecture [?].

Can you give me any directions how to start with that?

Unfortunatelly, it looks like it uses serial downloading.
I need JTAG.

For Windows and Linux, CCS and UniFlash is only supported on x86-64 environmemts.

I am not attached to CCS or UniFlash, the goal is to use one of XDS (110 or 100v3) and prorgam memories from console.

I am now investigating usage of OpenOCD, xds110 is listed there and I saw some configuration files for xds100v3 as well.

Yes OpenOCD does have xds110 support. The issue is lack of C2000 device support.

Can you provide configuration for c2000 in OpenOCD?

Thank you Ki, an alternative is rebuild UniFlash for aarch64. I need only command line tools not GUI.

We do not have any support for C28x for OpenOCD.

I would be happy to help you do this or explore other options for flash programming.

Thank you for information.

Now I am focused on development a tool for production task.
Probably I will return to this topic later. I will try to add c2000 support to OpenOCD if I receive specification of JTAG commands from TI.

I will open new question then.
