Dear TI experts,

I have a simple question regarding the use of 'drive.lib' and 'drivelib file (including .c and .h)' in my projects. I noticed that even when I exclude 'drive.lib' from my project, it still functions correctly. Could you explain the specific purpose of 'drive.lib'? I've observed that most example projects in C2000ware include this library.

The driverlib.lib is an archive of all the driver .c and .h files. Either you can use this lib in your project or add the driverlib .c and .h files.

Both should work.

Thanks! If I want to use "driverlib.lib", do I just need to place it in the project directory, or are there additional settings required?

Eric,

There are no additional settings. You need not place it the project directory. You can add it to the project from the existing folder also.
