For an e-bike we're developing, I'm experiencing a weird issue regarding RsOnline.
When running RsOnline, we sometimes get a weird value. Under normal circumstances, the RsOnline are around 0,83 ohm. However, when we start the Estimator, and run RsOnline, it just keeps on creeping and the motor won't turn. Sometimes even making a weird crunching sound. Not good!
We have a surface attached on the bike which talks to the motorcontroller over CAN-Bus. So the data updates at around 160 Hz frequency. I've added a photo which I took while cycling of the live data. Here you can see the RsOnline value, and the motor RPM value. You can see the weird, but constant, spike in RsOnline data and negative motor RPM. The issue doesn't occur constantly, but sometimes.
What can cause this?
What are some other variables I can start plotting?
