TMS320F28388D: Selecting an emulator (XDS560 software v2 or XDS200) to trace and debug for TMS320F28388D device

Part Number: TMS320F28388D

I want to use the TMS320F28388D device on my design that includes its x2 cores, x2 CLAs and Cortex-M core.

Which emulator is more suitable and has more performance to use all trace/debug, diagnostics, multithreads, all busses, memory interconnections and other peripheral capabilities for the design?

What advantages and benefits tell me I should choose to use this? (Debug speed, communication stability and other HW features can be considered)

  • XDS560 software v2 system trace USB debug probe
  • XDS200 USB Debug Probe
