TMS320F28386D: LOSPCP divider

Part Number: TMS320F28386D

Hi experts,

in my project I assigned the mastership of the SPI to CPU1 and the mastership of the McBSP to CPU2.

I want to change the frequency of these peripherals by modifying the field LSPCLKDIV within the LOSPCP register.

Is the LOSPCP divider shared between CPU1.SYSCLK and CPU2.SYSCLK?

May I set a value of  LSPCLKDIV  for CPU1.SYSCLK that is different from the one for CPU2.SYSCLK?

I hope my question is clear....

Regards,

Benito

  • Hello Benito,

LSPCLK divider is common for all peripherals shown below

Ownership of the module doesn't change the clock frequency input since its still same/common LSPCLK used by SPI,SCI and McBSP.

There might be peripheral specific clock configuration that you can control to change the effective internal clock to the peripheral

Like shown in screenshot below :

    Thanks,
    Prarthan
