Hi expert,
Customer is evaluating F28388 for EtherCAT use case, here are a few questions need clarifacation:
Hi Joyce,
Are there any DC configuration examples? How are the various delay compensations of DC configured? Are the functions generated in SSC automatically implemented?
We are planning to release a DC example in the next C2000WARE update (few months). Please reach out offline if this is an urgent need from the customer, as we do have a preliminary internal example.
There are many event configurations in the Synchronisation configuration in SSC, but the Value is 0. Are these configurations needed in Sync mode?
Not sure what you are referencing here.
Are the starting addresses and lengths of the data sent and uploaded by each ESC in Ethercat fixed? Is it configured in SSC?
This can be configured in the SSC tool, the xml file that comes with the etherCAT examples defines this.
We are now expecting to hang 8 ESCs under one master station. Can we realize that several work in PDO mode and others work in SDO mode?
I think this should be possible, since each datagram can be addressed to different ESCs. Should not be a problem to have some ESCs expecting a certain datagram format while others expect something different.
We hope that some of the ESCs can operate normally. If others have faults, we need to enter the debug mode to read some status data (maybe the ESC receives 20002 bytes and uploads 40002 bytes).
Again, not sure what you mean by this.
Best Regards,
Ben Collier
