C2000 eCAN not sending ACK bit

In our system there is a C2000 based board with CAN, and a host running Labview. The Labview host is sending CAN messages and setting internal variables on the C2000 board. Those internal variables are read back from the Labview host and the variables on the C2000 are being sent. This proves the messages are properly received by the C2000 board. However, on every transmission, the Labview host flags an error that there is no acknowledgment (ie no Ack bit) being sent back from the C2000 board.

I have read through the documentation and I do not see anything in the configuration that could disable the Ack bit.

What you be going wrong?

Thanks
