TMS320F28P650DK: cannot load codes to flash after unlocked when DCSM is enabled

Part Number: TMS320F28P650DK
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG, C2000WARE

Hello Champs,

In demo codes "dcsm_security_tool" in C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_5_02_00_00\driverlib\f28p65x\examples\c28x\dcsm\CCS, after setting Zone1 password and related GRABRAM and GRABSECT in Sysconfig, setting "CPU1_Flash" to "active" and compiling, load the ".out" file into flash of F28P65x launchpad. Then power off the launchpad and power on again, connect it and first successfully unlock with the correct password, then load the same ".out" file, but below error occurs:

Why can flash not be reprogrammed while it's already been unlocked? Would you please help?

Thanks!

Best Regards,

Linda

  • Hi Linda,

Could you check if "Reset after flash programming operations" is enabled in the On-Chip flash tool? If you've configured custom passwords and this checkbox is left enabled, the zone will become locked before you're able to program the flash.

    Thank you,

    Luke
