TMS320F28388D: Multicore Processors Freertos usage

Hello, Mr. Expert,

I will use FreeRTOS for task management on 2 x c28x cores on the F28388D board, I can do it in two ways:
Either I can install FreeRTOS on both cores separately or I can use SMP FreeRTOS, a task management software designed by FreeRTOS for multi-core processors.
Does the F28388D board support SMP FreeRTOS, if so I couldn't find any examples, if not I need to install FreeRTOS on both cores separately, right?

Can you guide me on this?

    Hi Ali,

    Symmetric Multiprocessing FreeRTOS is not supported on F2838x. So yes, you will need to setup FreeRTOS on each core separately. You can refer to the freertos_ex3_c28x_dual_blinky example in [C2000Ware]/kernel/FreeRTOS/Demo/C2000_F2838x_C28x_CCS directory for a demo application.
