TMS320F280039C: Options for Remote Firmware Update

I'm trying to do a remote firmware update to the TI C2000 - TMS320F280039C control card. We already have the Live Firmware Update feature available. Looking for options that could support any hardware connectivity via which remote firmware update to the device could be achieved.

Hi geetha,

May I know what end applications are you targeting? At this time, we don't have any hardware devices/examples identified that can talk about remote firmware updates.

If you are interested in FOTA, firmware-over-the-air, we have some documents that talk through that process. Let me know if FOTA is in line with what you are looking for.

At a high level, you would want to obtain a device suitable for connectivity with C2000. You can then update the firmware to occur over the wireless comms instead of existing SCI/UART.

C28 compiler v22.6.2.LTS is now available and has all the latest lfu bug fixes.

I highly recommend any customers doing lfu development to upgrade.
