Dear Friends

I had two questions about TMS320F28027:

1. From the C2000 PSG, it shows that the F28027 has 9 channels PWM, but from the datasheet, I only found 8 channels(P28,P29,P37~P42)

Which is right? I want to know it.

If it has 9 channels, which Pin is the 9th channel?

2. If only use Internal Zero-pin Oscillators, is it can work normally?

The frequency is 10 MHz ± 1% or better ?

1) Thanks for letting us know. It looks like a typo in C2000 PSG. F28027 has only 8 PWM channels.

2) Yes, you can use the internal oscillator. Please see the highlighted message below

They are both correct. With regards to the PWM the PSG is calling out something different than the DS. The PSG is calling out how many physical PWM signals can be generated at a given time. The DS is calling out how many ePWM dedicated channels there are.

The +1 in the PSG is coming from using the eCAP as a basic PWM module, this capablility is detailed in the eCAP UG for this device.
