Are there any examples utilizing Adaptive Constant On-Time control for multiphase bucks, using a C2000?

Hi Mike,

I don't believe we have any reference designs or examples utilizing this control method. We typically target voltage mode and peak current mode control for buck converters. Is there a specific reason you would choose to implement this over something like peak current mode control?

That seems to be where the industry is going for controlling high power multiphase buck POL designs. Similar to TI's D-CAP control.

Hi Mike,

I spoke with our digital power team, we haven't scoped this in our backlog. Do you have any relevant research papers or reports about this topology. I've seen some regarding buck regulator ICs but I haven't seen any regarding digital control implementations.
