Hello everyone ,

I tried testing MCAN (mcan_ex2_external_loopback) in connectivity manager from the example code given with the same GPIOs used , and loaded CPU1 with mcan_config_28x and externally connected a transceiver but i was able to neither transmit nor receive , Do I need to make any changes in the code?

I presume you used the example in C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_5_02_00_00\driverlib\f2838x\examples\cm\mcan directory. Please download my Application report http://www.ti.com/lit/SPRACU9 and read through the Debug tips carefully. Most CAN issues can be resolved by going through this checklist.

But the report does not mention debug tips for the mentioned example (mcan_ex2_external_loopback)

The debug tips are generic in nature and are not tied to a particular example.
