Hello.

I am making Phase shift full bridge using TIDM-02000 and TMS320F280039.

I want to change converter switching frequency during converter is operating.

My plan is below.

- over output current 50A : PSFB converter is operating as 50kHz

- under output current 50A : PSFB converter is operating as 60kHz

Is it possible?

Yes, this should be possible. The EPWM has a global load feature which you can use to ensure EPWM registers get updated at the same time. This is necessary to avoid any glitching on the PWM pins.

Hello, Gus, Thanks for your comment.

TIDM-02000 is used Direct mode in PWM period setting.

I should use Shadow mode to change PSFB switching frequency.

How can I change to Shadow mode from Direct mode?

I would encourage you to look at the PWM global load feature description in the MCU technical reference manual and the software example in c2000ware.
