Hello,

We are using TMS320F2800156-Q1 in our project but since there is no DAC in that MCU we decided to use TMS320F2800157.

Since our application is not automotive, we do not want to use TMS320F2800157-Q1 because of the price of the MCU.

So, does TMS320F2800157 have a TUV certificate for functional safety and include a Lockstep core?

Yes Lockstep is always there irrespective of the part number for all f280015x devices.

So there is no difference between TMS320F2800157 and TMS320F2800157-Q1 except Automotive qualified and temperature?

Also, is the software the same for both TMS320F2800157 and TMS320F2800157-Q1?

Hi Aksoy,

Yes there doesn't seem to be any difference between TMS320F2800157 and TMS320F2800157-Q1 in peripherals wise.
Since there is no difference in peripherals then I don't see the software also changing between two.
