TMDSCNCD28379D: TMDSCNCD28379D ADC questions

Part Number: TMDSCNCD28379D

Tool/software:

Dear TI,

I am using the TMDSCNCD28379D control card.

The TMDSCNCD28379D board gets the current sensor output through the OPAMP, which translates the 2.5V (midpoint) signal to 1.65V.

When I checked all the points, it shows 1.65V at 0A even after the zero ohm for filter on the TMDSCNCD28379D. However, when I read the value on the MCU, it shows 1.47V or 1.48V.

By the way, I am using ADC C4.

What could be the problem?

Additionally, I noticed in another reference design from TI that 1.65V is applied to PIN 17 and 32. Could this be affecting the issue? Should I apply 1.65V to these pins?

Best regards,

  • Hi,

Which reference design hardware & software are you utilizing?

When I checked all the points, it shows 1.65V at 0A even after the zero ohm for filter on the TMDSCNCD28379D. However, when I read the value on the MCU, it shows 1.47V or 1.48V.

You could try increasing the ACQPS (sample & hold) time for the ADC conversion.

    Best,
