Hello,

I have used MAX3232 IC for seial comm with Computer to DSp.

When I Run Sample scia_echoback code, I get absurd characters on the hyperterminal screen.

I have checked all hardware connections .

Can someone tell me procedure to debug this?

And what about the software settings - baud rate, etc?

Have you verified the signals with a 'scope?

yes!

i using the sample code, what i receive at the terminal is something diff from what i transmit: some un recognizable characters!

Please let me the procedure

Shantanu,

Andy is right. Please check whether the baud rate set in the example code matches the baud rate set in the hyper terminal.
