TMS320F28027: Phase current oscillation

Part Number: TMS320F28027
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MOTORWARE

Tool/software:

Hello, I am using routines
E:\ti\motorware\motorware_1_01_00_18\sw\solutions\instaspin_foc\boards\boostxldrv8305_revA\f28x\f2802xF\projects\ccs\proj_lab10a
At the same voltage, there is no problem with the highest speed when unloaded, but when loaded and approaching the highest speed, the phase current begins to oscillate,
Turn off overmodulation, phase current still oscillates, and ADC sampling is also good before oscillation
What are the possible reasons for sudden oscillations

  • It's related to the hardware and the motor. You can check if the output power of the motor is close its rate or maximum power, and the peak current of motor phase is close the maximum current of the hardware. Also check if there is any ripple on the dc-bus voltage.
